Police identified the shooter's personality at once. He was revealed as a member of the criminal group, named "Semashko". After the murder he suddenly disappeared.

Only after 12 years passed since the crime was committed, police received the information about the murderer - he can hide in the area of the city Herson. In result of the successful task force operation, he was arrested in one of the streets of Herson city. Right after the criminal was arrested, he cried that he killed a man and said that he is tired of hiding from the police and ready to surrender. He also added that he changed his appearance several times. His answer on the question "Why did you kill him?" is the conflict between him and the victim several days before the murder. After killing him, murderer took illegal position and left the city Sevastopol.

At present the case is transferred in the court, murderer is waiting for his trial.
