Moscow Markets and Fairs President, Evgeniy Chivilikhin, was headshot near his apartment, located on Leningradskiy highway in Moscow. Murder took place in the evening, February 7. Detectives affirm that he had been contracted because of his professional activity. Criminals are not found yet.
Police took the record of the camera, located at the house near the crime scene. It did help policemen to make the criminal identikit.
It was the second and the last attempt of the businessman murder. The first one took place last summer, when criminals tried to blow him up near his house at the same place. Luckily, the businessman survived.
In past, Evgeniy Chivilikhkin was a Petrovsko-Razumovskiy Market leader and a Timiryazevskaya Business Association President. Investigation supposes that the murder is connected with Chivilikhin's former business. Several criminal groups had been trying to take control of the Association since 1990.
