Criminal is suspected in a murder attempt of his wife's cousin grandson. Thanks to the local resident, 2-year old child was found undressed and stained with blood on stairs platform in one of the houses on Yamasheva Street. A man was surprised when he saw an undressed child, sitting next to his entrance door. He noticed the blood flowing down child's forehead and numerous grazes on the body. Civilian said his wife to call the ambulance.

Doctors found two knife belly wounds and lots of head and trunk injuries. Child had been hospitalized and his life is secure at the moment.

2-year old Timur Vasilev lived with his parents in the next house. Going to work, parents had been leaving the child on the grandmother; once she asked her cousin to sponsor the child because of repairing works in granny's flat. And cousin grandmother left the boy with her husband because of work that day. Neighbors and relatives say that this husband was a drunkard and was even arrested several times for hooliganism.

Investigation is clarifying what were the man’s actions against the child and what really did happened that day in the flat. 53-year old suspect only said that he was drunk and remembered nothing that was happened.

During the flat inspection, police found the child's dressings, several knives were withdrawn. Blood was also detected on suspect's wearing.

Prosecution Department had initiated a criminal case due to the cases #30 and #105, Justice Code of RF (murder attempt of certainly helpless person).
